Preview: Hull City U18s vs Wigan Athletic U18s

Hull City Under-18s are in FA Youth Cup on Saturday as they host Wigan Athletic in the Fourth Round of the competition at the KCOM Stadium.

The Tigers will be looking to build on an impressive start to 2019 having registered a 6-2 win against Bolton Wanderers at Bishop Burton College in what was their first league fixture of the New Year.

Wigan, who are managed by former Tiger Gregor Rioch and ply their trade in the Youth Alliance League, are unbeaten in all competitions this season and beat Category One Wolves  in the previous round of the prestigious Youth cup competition with a 2-1 win at Molineux.

The Fourth Round tie will be played immediately after the first-team’s Sky Bet Championship home game against Sheffield Wednesday and all supporters are invited to stay behind in order to cheer on the young Tigers.

Fans wishing to stay behind to support the team having already attended the first-team fixture simply have to stay in their seats after the full-time whistle.

For supporters who are not attending the Sheffield Wednesday fixture, admission to the game will be £3 with tickets available to purchase from Tiger Leisure stores at the KCOM Stadium and Prospect Centre.
