Preview: Hull City U23s vs Nott'm Forest U23s
Hull City Under-23s are in action at the KCOM Stadium for the third time this season on Saturday when they host Nottingham Forest immediately after the first team's Sky Bet Championship fixture with West Brom.
Jon Beale's side head into the match looking to bounce back from four successive defeats in all competitions, with the 2-1 defeat away at leaguer leaders Leeds United earlier in the week leaving the Tigers in ninth place in the Professional Development League North table with 11 points from as many games.
Forest are one point and one place better off in the table having won three, drawn three and lost five in the league this season and head to the KCOM aiming to end a winless run of their own with defeats to Birmingham City (1-0), Crewe Alexandra (2-1) and Bolton Wanderers (2-1) in their last three outings.
Supporters of all ages are invited to watch the Professional Development League fixture with Members and Match Card holders able to do so completely free of charge.
Fans wishing to stay behind to support Beale’s youngsters having already attended the first-team fixture simply have to stay in their seats after the full-time whistle.
Supporters who are not attending the Preston North End game but wish to watch the Development Squad will be able to watch for free as long as they are a Member or have a Match Card. Entrance to the Stadium will be available via gates 23-26 in the South West corner following the completion of the first team fixture.
Kick-off at the KCOM Stadium is scheduled for 5pm (or 15-20 minutes after the final whistle of the first team match). Fans unable to make it to the game will be able to follow all the action via the Academy's official Twitter account.
