Preview: Nottingham Forest U23s vs Hull City U23s

Hull City Under-23s are in Professional Development League action for the second time this week on Friday with a trip to Nottingham Forest (KO 2pm).

Jon Beale's side slipped to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Leeds United on Monday night in what was their first fixture of 2019 and will be looking to produce a positive response against the Reds at The City Ground.

The Tigers currently sit tenth in the North Section of the Professional Development League having accumulated 14 points from 16 games.

Forest, meanwhile, are two places and seven points better off in the table - having registered six wins, three draws and eight defeats in their 17 games to-date - and will also be aiming to bounce back from defeat in their opening game of the New Year having slipped to a 3-2 defeat at Bolton Wanderers earlier in the week.

In-game updates will be provided on the Academy’s Twitter account - @HullCityAcademy - with a report to follow on after the game.
