Preview: Watford U18s vs Hull City U18s
Hull City Under-18s continue their U18 Professional Development League campaign with a trip to Watford on Saturday morning (KO 10.30am).
John Anderson and Terry Boyle's young Tigers suffer a first league defeat of 2019 when losing 1-0 at home to Leeds United two weeks ago and will be aiming to produce a positive response at the first time of asking when travelling to take on the Hornets.
Watford currently occupy seventh place in the South table heading into the fixture at the Hornets' Training Ground and claimed a spot in the last four of the FA Youth Cup in their previous match at the end of February having registered a 2-1 extra-time win against Leicester City.
The U18 Professional Development League is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, with the sides who finish first and second in each league meeting in the end-of-season play-offs to determine the overall national champions.
